Hello and welcome! If you’ve landed here, you’ve taken a big step in seeking support for yourself, and that effort should be celebrated. The idea of sharing details about your personal life with a stranger can be vulnerable. Many people make the choice to connect with a trained therapist and end up finding value in having an unbiased person outside of their friend/family group to listen, validate, and share helpful strategies. I find great meaning in being able to partner with people as they identify goals and move forward with healing and growth.
My work focuses on supporting individuals (16+) navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationships/family life. I have been working as a licensed therapist for 9 years and prior to that I spent 7 years working with youth and families in various community-based settings. I utilize an eclectic approach and pull from training in different trauma-informed and person-centered therapy modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I am also currently practicing Brainspotting and am working towards certification in this area.
My approach is gentle yet direct, and I strive to provide an emotionally safe and comfortable space for individuals to show up and be accepted as their authentic selves. In my free time you’ll find me having fun with my family and friends and exploring local parks and trails.
