How long will it take?
At Quiet Mind Therapy Services, we believe that people can move on from therapy. We do not believe, in most cases that people need to be sitting in our therapy chairs forever! If you are, then perhaps we are not doing our job to help you!! Communication is really important. Frequent check ins with our clients about what their needs are, and how we can help them move forward is standard practice for us. You are the captain of your ship, and you decide what your goals are!!
I’ve never talked to anyone. I’m used to handling things on my own. Aren’t people who go to therapy weak?
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, we will help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. You can get better!
How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?
Because each person has different issues and goals for counseling, it will be different depending on the individual. We want the therapy sessions to be comfortable and as helpful as possible. You should expect a relaxed, inviting environment and a safe space for you to talk.
I want to get the most out of therapy. What can I do to help?
We are so glad you are dedicated to getting the most out of your sessions. Your active participation and dedication will be crucial to your success. Having an idea of what is not working for you is often a great place to start.
I want to come in for therapy, but I can not afford it. What can I do?
We do have slots available for reduced rates. For folks that are in a financial struggle, or who have really high deductibles, this can be a great option. Please visit this link for more information.
